The Zenith Initiative

A first-person resource puzzle game built on real spectroscopic data. You read planets the way astronomers actually do, by their light. Tune a laser across color, range, and intensity to identify elements, extract them, and slowly terraform a dead world back to life.

Solo project: design, systems programming, and the GDD-to-Unity pipeline, end to end.

Slime Lab

A top-down 3D puzzle dungeon crawler built at UCF. Guide a lab-grown slime through seeded, room-by-room facilities. Every run generates a new layout to route, solve, and survive. Headed to itch.io eventually.

My focus was the procedural generation, built from scratch, including the room-rotation logic that keeps the layout coherent as you move from room to room.

HTTX (Holotable Table Top Exercise)

Senior capstone with UCF's METIL Lab: an instructor-led, multiplayer tactical training simulation for 6+ participants, built in Unity with Mirror networking. Trainees coordinate across role-specific views (law enforcement, fire department, dispatcher, instructor) to contain a simulated radiological theft as the instructor drives the scenario through phased stages. Designed to eventually run on a holographic table, though the team didn't reach that integration.

My main focus was role development: defining what each role could actually see and do, from an instructor's exclusive control over phase progression down to which cameras, tools, and units a given trainee had access to. I also did some minor tooling work and light level design, blocking out the hospital map we were handed empty.

About

I'm a software engineer and game developer based in the Orlando area. I've shipped four games through local game jams, and I'm currently deep in a solo project, The Zenith Initiative, that's grown into something much bigger than a jam scope.

I think in systems. When I'm designing a game or debugging someone else's code, I'm usually trying to find the underlying rules first, then see what I can build once I actually understand them.

Recent work outside my own projects includes a full-stack school administration system built for my mom's school under deadline (Raspberry Pi, FastAPI, SQLite, real HTTPS), and simulation tooling for UCF's METIL Lab back in school.
